About CentennialThe City of Centennial, Colorado is a suburban city located in the southern part of the Denver Metropolitan area. Centennial is just south of Greenwood Village and the Denver Tech Center. Pockets of neighborhoods, business parks, Retail establishment, open space and entertainment districts make up the City of Centennial. On February 7, 2001, the City of Centennial was legally established and incorporated as a Colorado City. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, the population of the City of Centennial is 100,377. As the city continues to grow, Centennial's population is expected to see great growth by the next U.S. Census. Centennial is one of the fastest growing suburban areas. The City of Centennial hosts successful companies like Jones International University, United Healthcare Management Company, Oppenheimer Funds, Jeppesen, Comcast, and Cisco Systems to name a few.
